I would’ve never forgiven myself if I had left work today and din’t post a very happy birthday wish for Alain. After a very busy last day of the month I finally snuck in a few minutes.
So… ¡Feliz Cumpleaños!
And many mooooore……………..

Happy Halloween Hellbloggers!
I was forced into the spirit today, so I carved a pumpkin. Check it out in all it’s awesome glory!

Sometimes people revolt me.
I heard some statistics on the radio at 6.45am today that stunned me. According to a survey of over 600 Irish people…:
WTF??
I have to question the validity of the survey somewhat. With stats like that, I’d expect to be confronted by a rank, brown, plaque-ridden maw on almost every other person I meet, and that is certainly not the case.
Yet perhaps I shouldn’t be too surprised if it more accurate than I would have guessed.
I work on the ground floor of a 17 story public building, so the ground floor toilets see a fair bit of traffic. And in nine months of working there, I’m horrified by the state they are, on rare (but not rare enough) occasion, left in. Taps left running annoy me, but I’m one of those easily irritated people. People who leave without washing their hands - mental note: don’t shake hands with them. But leaving used tissues on the floor, piss on the floor, shit on the floor, sanitary pads on the floor…. WHO thinks this is an acceptable way to behave?!?!
And just how is it physically possible for a woman to piss on the upright lid of the toilet seat?? These questions, I cannot answer.
Are we, as a nation, filthier than average? I dread the answers, but tell me what you think.
Yes, people, I’m a big girl now … sort of …? Eh … humor me anyway. It’s kind of strange, actually. The thing is, we (because my little kitty cat friend is coming along with me) are finally moving out of the house that we currently live in with my Mom, and are moving into a separate living quarters on my Grandfather’s property. I think the people who owned the place before my Mom and her family lived there used to rent it out or something. It has its own address and everything, though, and it’s a really groovy little place. It has a funky, artsy, sort of vintage feel to it, which is right up my alley. I’ll definitely have to post some pictures.
It’s pretty much got everything a small apartment would have, except for a kitchen, but I’m getting a mini fridge and some other things to sort of create a little makeshift kitchen, although, I’ll probably be doing a lot of cooking in his house for both of us. It kind of works out for everyone, because my Grandpa needs someone to be around/closer by, and I’d be helping him a lot around his house, and obviously paying him a little bit of cash every month for rent. But it will be nice to have sort of a half-assed place of my own, especially if I ever develop some sort of social life. So, yay! Now I am not a total loser, I am just kind of a loser!
Also, I was a bad girl and did not go to school today. Yeah. I haven’t taken any days off from 2-D all semester, and I just felt like I needed one. Didn’t feel like working on perspective, didn’t feel like being ignored yet again by a particular person, didn’t feel like putting up with the same stuff today, so I thought I’d take a “mental health day.” Meh.
So that is my life at the moment. I will write again as soon as something interesting happens.

I just got back from the greatest Halloween concert of all time, and all I have to say is wow….a more lengthy and blood soaked entry is available here.
